Seven templates that show the finished paper, not a blank form. Each page gives you the full document with numbers that add up, then the fields you must include and the legal points behind them.

How they work

Each template page shows you the document as the app really produces it. The quote and the invoice come from the app's own document builder, so what you see is what the customer gets. The job sheet and the timesheet have no app document, so those two are written out by hand and checked against the app's own data.

After the specimen, each page lists what to put on the document and what the law says and how to use it.

The seven

• Quote template: a full worked quote with customer and lines and VAT and terms and acceptance.
• Invoice template: a full worked invoice with VAT breakdown and CIS deduction where it applies and payment reference and bank block.
• Job sheet template: what was done and what was found and what was used and what was photographed and what the customer signed.
• Timesheet template: date and start and end and hours and the job and the rate.
• Statement of account template: what a customer owes across all jobs. Dated and signed.
• Late payment letter template: the four steps as letters you can copy. Includes the letter before action and small claims note.
• Payment reminder template: the same ladder in message form. One thing per line.

Why use them

A blank template leaves you to guess what to include. These show the finished paper with every field filled in. Copy the layout and the wording will fit most UK jobs. The app uses the same fields, so what you type on your phone appears in the same order on the PDF.
