Every part of the app
One page for each part of the app. Each line below says what is on that page, and the name at the start of the line is the link.
Quoting and the job
- Quote by talking: speak the job and the quote is written line by line with the prices you say, for you to check.
- Quotes: a priced quote you send, and the customer's answer written down.
- Jobs: the job, its photos, notes and costs in one place.
- The diary: busy days, multi-day jobs, and a job that moves itself to In Progress on its start date.
- Missed calls: the caller's message written out and sent to you. This part is not built yet.
Getting paid
- Invoices: a bill built from the job, with the invoice number as the payment reference.
- Payments: a deposit and a balance on one job, and the money that is still owed.
- Chasing: a chase with the amount still owed and your bank details already in it.
- Customer messages: four messages, one for each thing you need to say, in your own words.
- The customer's page: a link where the customer approves a quote or signs off a bill.
- Reviews: a review ask on the sign-off page, the same ask for every customer. This part is not built yet.
Money and tax
- Expenses: a receipt read, a category, and the cost filed against the job.
- Timesheets: hours on a job that become a labour line on the invoice.
- Tax: an estimate from your records, in bands, with CIS already taken off.
- Making Tax Digital: HMRC's quarters, the thresholds, and whether any of it applies to you yet.
- Reports: the year, what you are owed, and the tax and VAT in one place.
The assistant
- The assistant: answers from your own records, and every figure comes from the phone.
